TerraSlate Print Settings Guide

5 Mil TerraSlate

  • Paper Weight: 24lb bond / 160 gsm

  • Select Media Type: Plain, Thin, or Light Paper

  • Print Quality: Standard or High

  • Feed Method: Regular Paper Tray

  • Tips & Tricks: 

    • Works well in almost all laser printers and copy machines

    • Notes: Laser compatible only. Inkjet printers are not compatible

8 Mil TerraSlate

  • Paper Weight: 80lb cover / 255 gsm

  • Select Media Type: Thick, Heavyweight, or Cardstock

  • Print Quality: Standard or High

  • Feed Method: Regular Paper Tray

  • Tips & Tricks if Helpful: 

    • Use standard or high quality - avoid draft or eco mode

    • Notes: Laser compatible only. Inkjet printers are not compatible

10 Mil TerraSlate

  • Paper Weight: 120lb cover / 344 gsm

  • Select Media Type: Heavyweight, Cardstock, or Labels

  • Print Quality: High

  • Feed Method: Regular Paper Tray

  • Tips & Tricks if Helpful: 

    • If needed, use the bypass tray or straight-through paper path

    • Notes: Laser compatible only. Inkjet printers are not compatible

14 Mil TerraSlate

  • Paper Weight: 180lb cover / 490 gsm

  • Select Media Type: Heavy Paper Setting, Cardstock, Labels, or Extra Heavyweight

  • Print Quality: High or Best

  • Feed Method: Regular paper tray on a high-end copy machine or commercial press. If unavailable, using the bypass tray may be necessary if the printer is not rated for 180lb cover / 490 gsm stock

  • Tips & Tricks if Helpful: 

    • Typically requires a commercial press to print - TerraSlate can print for you in 1 day.

    • Check printer specs for max media thickness and use that setting.

    • Notes: Use a printer or a digital press rated for heavy media. Laser compatible only. Inkjet printers are not compatible.

10 Mil PolySlate

  • Paper Weight: 100lb cover / 270 gsm

  • Select Media Type: Thick, Heavyweight, or Cardstock

  • Print Quality: High

  • Feed Method: Regular Paper Tray

  • Tips & Tricks if Helpful: 

    • Use the bypass tray or straight-through paper path if needed

    • Notes: Laser compatible only. Inkjet printers are not compatible

Hydronote Inkjet Compatible Stock

  • Paper Weight: 54lb bond / 150 gsm

  • Select Media Type: Plain, Thin, or Light Paper

  • Print Quality: Standard or High

  • Feed Method: Regular Paper Tray

    • Works well in almost all inkjet,  laser printers, and copy machines
